New SKB Trophy Inaugural Shoot

With the rain holding off for the day 31 shooters turned up to the SKB Christmas shoot and to contest the new SKB trophy and the wind. Club President Larry Bosson fought out a battle of wits and abuse with a borrowed gun, to win HOA and take the SKB trophy for the first time with a personal best score on the SKB field on 44/50.

This was a pretty good score considering some of the mongrel wind gusts sending the targets all over the place plus a free lunch and lubricant to weigh down the competition. Larry was overheard to say at lunch time that he would partake in food and refreshments after the days shooting as he wanted keep a clear mind. For those who know Larry this is so out of character but obviously it worked and Larry took HOA, Congratulations Larry.

John Mason's 3D Loony Trap provided lots of fun until no one could see the targets due to darkness?

Newly emerged shooting teams "The Assassins" and the "Tossers" fought out the teams event with the Assassins coming out on top only due to their relentless abuse and derogatory physical comments towards their opposition. All good fun.
