EQUINE CUP 2003
Rain welcomed the shooters for the Annual Equine Cup held at the SKB sporting field and shot over two rounds of fifty targets.
Last years winner John Bennett set a hot pace with a first round score of 42/50. About 5 shooters were following closely behind on 38's and 39's.
The weather cleared for the afternoon and again the pace was set by John who posted a second round score of 44/50 giving him a combined total of 86/100. Calvin Stewart fought back in the second round and also posted a 44/50 but unfortunately could only post a combined total of 82/100 giving him second overall.
Congratulations must go to John Bennett for a superb display of shooting to again take the Equine Cup for another year.
